Features

1. Test

  • For each file transmitted, a free test sample is generated and offered for listening and downloading.

It consists of 5 seconds of the original sound followed by a random selection of 30 seconds of the sound after mastering.

  • For VIP subscribers, the duration of this random selection is increased to 60 seconds. Like all files, the test remains available only 240 hours (10 days) for listening and downloading.

Like all files, the test remains available only 240 hours (10 days) for listening and downloading.

  • The 44.1 kHz 16-bit CD format is the minimum quality recommended for testing under good technical conditions.

2. Input Files

  • MAXIMALSOUND supports almost all known audio formats on planet Earth. However files of type .wav, .aiff, or .flac are preferable for a quality result. The majority of other file types only output a degraded version of the original sound.
  • The 44.1 kHz 16-bit CD format is the minimum definition recommended for the source to be processed if a quality result is desired.

  • For the non-standard sampling frequencies (48048 Hz or 47952 Hz ...) to be rendered in SAME definition (identical), please use the .wav file type as source.

  • Multi-channel and monophonic files are processed in stereo.

  • Very high definition formats are processed within the limit of 96 KHz 32 bit stereo float.

3. Output Files

  • MAXIMALSOUND is intended to produce stereo masters. Multi-channel and monophonic files are converted to stereo.
